“The Refugee Crisis and the European Union’s Response: Context, Management and Challenges”

The Summer School is a joint effort of the University of Barcelona and Middlesex University. The course is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the current refugee crisis, which will be examined from a range of disciplinary perspectives including law, sociology and political science. Classes will be given by academics and professionals in the field of refugee, asylum and migration from different European universities and organizations and will be complemented by practical exercises, debates and research work. At the end of course participants will be asked to write a report and will receive a certificate of participation.
